Our fourth of July Fireworks

Around here all the local fireworks were on Saturday with downtowns big one on Sunday evening. I decided that I was not going to brave fireworks alone with both kids so when Teri invited us over to watch at her house, we accepted. Her dad was excited to shoot the really good fireworks off for us. So we settled down out front while he had his pryo area set up in the backyard and we enjoyed about 30 minutes of pretty big fireworks going off.

Afterward, I pulled out the sparklers and poppers. Ryan rationed out poppers to the kids and I lit the sparklers.


This is the extent of my firework pictures. Some day I am going to have to learn what to do to take good firework pictures.

The kids, a few neighbor kids joined us as well.

Then we had some that you light and it grows like a snake, they enjoyed watching them.


And Mrs. Teri blew up water balloons so we ended the evening with a water balloon fight.
