Upon arriving we found a pump that we just had to try out - over and over. It was actually pretty hard work to pump it to get the water out.

The path down to the falls.

Butterflies we found along the way.

I think the kids would have been perfectly happy playing in the creek for hours. After about 15 minutes we had to coax them on the falls.

A turtle we found along the way.

The falls. Now I remember from younger days it being a lot larger, much higher and much more water. I was probably 14 or 15 at the time though. And in its defense there had not been much rain.

But it is still beautiful.

Once again the sign said no wadding or swimming in the water and once again, each person that came down got in the water.

This is the whinny girl at the end of the day. Here she saw the stairs we had to climb to get out and here she was whining "more stairs"!

Course Grandpa became the hero and carried her out.
