We left the Library of Congress and took another stroll in the rain right next door to the U.S. Supreme Court. Entrance was to the left side side of the building. You could not walk up the steps and go in but you can exit down the steps.
In front of the U.S. Supreme court.Pass through another security gate.
John Marshall statue
Bust of Sandra D O'Conner, the first woman on the Supreme Court.
Very impressive to read about her, she has a whole exhibit dedicated to her.
Upstairs in front of the Supreme Court room.
You can take a peek inside but this is as far as you can see in.
Another picture of the capitol from a little further back.
The front of the Library of Congress and the neptue statue in front of it.
And a little stop on the way to the Botanical Garden to play with some very friendly and very fat little squirrels.
Next stop National Botanical Gardens.
