A first

It was a first for this mama.  Ladybug has a good girlfriend at school that she gets together with on the weekends to play.  Well her family invited Ladybug to join them at a concert.  Concert was a big word for me.  First of all it would be her first.  It would be without me and it would be to a place I have never been before.

Now, I will tell you that is was a Casting Crowns concert.  I have never been to one but a friend described their concerts as a really great worship service.  So yes, that does make a difference but we still had to talk about it before I let her go.

She got drilled with "stay with your friend", "don't leave her parents", "hold hands", "don't talk to strangers", "be polite", "use your best manners" etc......
This was my cutie before she headed out.  I missed her that evening.  She left at 3pm and they went to dinner before the concert and cracker barrel for hot chocolate afterwards and didn't get home until after 11pm.  This mama was trying to keep her eyes open to wait up and the girls came in still bubbly and giggly.
