As an incentive to learn your verses in Awana, there is a Commander's Challenge night towards the end of the Awana year. So if you finish your book by a certain date or if you have at least 15 verses completed during a certain time frame then you qualify to participate.
Well this year, each child could bring one "editable" item to dump or pour on the commander if they qualified.

Ladybug finished her book so she decided to mix milk and ketchup together. Daddy secretly added in some blue food colering and it ended up looking like that!
After 50 kids or so poured everything you could image on him, this was what he looked like.
And then the hose came to wash him down!
Batman didn't qualify because he had not finished his book and tends to do his verses very slowly. But by the end of the year after working extra hard we were so proud of him when he completed his entire first year book. It was definitely an accomplishment for Batman.
