I know there are a lot of Softball pics right now, but I love the action shots. We had another game on Monday and the Lady Bears were awesome once again. I am amazed and so please with what the coach has done with the team this year and how far they have come.
Everyone played and performed again. It is hard to find a weak link on the team. The coaches have worked with every girl the same and found their weakness and have drilled them. In the game follow up he compared their performance with a "softball clinic" on how to execute the basic fundamentals of softball. Everyone was hitting, everyone was fielding and throwing, backing up, stopping the ball etc. It is so exciting to watch.

Jess batted four for four today. She hit her first double with a hit that dropped in left field! (Remember they do not allow you to take second base on an overthrow). It has to be hit to the outfield to double. She hit two to the outfield and another grounder that that went straight to left field. Fantastic batting today.
For the team, we had 36 at bats and there were only two strikeouts. That is awesome and earned the team large icees from the coach!

One more game and it will end the season. Then playoffs begin. So excited we are not done yet!
