Would you if you could....

The Question is would you go back to High School if you could?

Well, our family ventured into the high school arena on Friday night for a local football game.

Wait let me back up! I am typing on Myyyyyy computer! Yes, my wonderful husband has fixed my computer and hopefully for the last time. We are not going to say anything about that THREE MONTH turnaround time it took. Yes, I love you sweetie.

Anyway, we were at the high school football game to see our friends son play in the band.

Texas style, everything is big. They built one state of the art stadium that everyone plays in.
My kids were in awe of the size and couldn't wait to look over the railing.
Ok, see the cheers from the little ones! They loved it. They were chanting Go Mustangs Go, not long after we got there.
The band coming on to the field.
We were visitor so I only got the back of the band.
But here are the faces of amazed children as they watched on..... And requested popcorn, hot dogs, nacho and sprite!
Then we went to visit T-man in the band. My kids love this boy. It was so cool to see a junior step out of his place and come give his mom a kiss and a huge hug to my kids and all his brothers and sisters. Then he played one song right in from of the kids so they could watch. The kids loved it.

We had a fun time. I took Ladybug down to see the high school cheerleaders. She enjoyed watching and critiquing.

But anyways, back to the question. As I wandered through the student section to watch the cheerleaders, I am thinking there is no way I would ever replay high school or want to go back to that time!

I mentioned that to Chris when we sat back down and he looked at me seriously and said "I would." I looked at him as if he were crazy. Then he finished his sentence "I would if I could have dated you."

I don't know, that just struck me as one of the sweetest things to say. If you knew what you knew now in high school and if it wasn't just a high school crush but you were living it out with a person that you loved, how different would high school have been. How much of a different experience would it have been.

High school would have been heaven with my sweetheart... anything is better with my sweetheart. And I got chills when I read that Chris said that to you - one of the sweetest things ever to say! I wouldn't redo high school either, but the thought of going through it with Mark changes a lot!
