Our hotel

There were so many hotels to choose from and not ever being there in my adult life, I was unsure which one to pick. I knew that that $400 a night ones were out but I wanted to be on the strip and I didn't want a cheap hotel. So my sister found this one for us. The Excalibur. It ended up being perfect. I paid for an upgraded room which got me a view of the strip, a huge flat screen TV, an upgraded bed and even upgraded air, trash can and sink. (The only reason I know the last part was my sister didn't go for the upgrade!)

Here is a picture at night (obviously). It truly amazed me how big all these hotels are. They are humongous. And they are all like that. The are very extragivant in all the money that went into create them.

This is the view from our room. New York, New York was right across the street and you can see the roller coaster right there. We did ride the roller coaster. Very much fun. It was $14 per person to ride but definitely worth it!

And even though, Las Vegas has one of the highest unemployment rates like at 14%, it certainly did not seem like the city was hurting. To see all the people and to know what they paid for things around there. It was busy everywhere and the shows were pretty full.
