Let's go to the apple farm

On Wednesday we met up with our MOPS group at Shade Tree Apple Farm.

Batman found a caterpillar right off.

First on the agenda was to show us how to make apple cider. They did it the old timey way with a crank for us but said that they have a machine they use otherwise.

But all they did is put the apples in and crush them up and press the juice out. We each got to try the fresh apple cider. Very delicious. We brought a jug home as well.

Batman liked it.

Then off to the hayride. Only problem with hayride was they tried to fit all these people onto one small trailer. So it was not exactly the greatest stuffed on there. But the kids enjoyed it.

Then they had a craft for the kids.

It started with an apple.

And it ended up creating a pig.

That many preschoolers do not all like to have their picture taken at the same time!
