The name of the game this weekend.....

was Pai Gow! My sister told me that we needed to learn to play Pai Gow Poker so that we could sit at the tables and play with them because it was something that they enjoyed doing. She said that you could sit and play for a long time without losing much money and they would keep bringing you drinks!

So on the plane, I brought a deck of cards and the instructions and we learned how to play.

OMG! Let me tell you how much fun we had playing! Chris was hooked from the first time we walked through the casino.

We spent hours playing Pai Gow.

We played in four different casinos. Excalibor, Luxor, Binions and another one (can't remember the name). We played mostly $10 tables but we were lucky enough to find some $5 tables in the downtown area of Las Vegas. But actually we played better on the $10 tables.

We played in the mornings and got Mimosa's and Poinsettias.
We played in the afternoons and got Hot Chocolate and Baileys
We played in the evenings and got Margaritas and White Wine.

And truly it was so fun because you really didn't loose a lot of money. Most of the times I walked away winning money and you could sit there and play for a few hours without putting much money on the line and we had so much fun all doing it together!

But as much as I enjoyed it, the next time I have the opportunity, I think I am going to learn how to play Craps. And if you really want to know what, I would love to learn how to deal some of the games! But alas, the name of the game this weekend and our fallback when we asked "what are we going to do now"? was Pai Gow.
