Snow day

Well we had a "snow" day that was just a little bit disappointing. On Monday of this week the forecast said 3-4 inches and that number slowly dwindled up till the time it started to fall finally this morning. It did snow but it was not even enough to register on our snow sticks. I would guess a 1/2 an inch on the high side. It was pretty cold and the kids didn't even ask to go out so we stayed in the house all day and Batman didn't even change out of his pajamas.

But a snow day is a snow day so it was worth a party with friends. So we had friends over to play and fix spaghetti for lunch! I think the kids had a great time and the adults got to talk with other grownups and our first snow day passed much quicker!

Eating lunch!

All of the adults conviently got out of the picture! lol

And Ms. A happened to think we need a picture with everyone but some of our friends had already left. So here are three families. And of course my son is the upside down one who refused to conform to any type of norm but it displays his personality perfectly. Then Lady bug was being cuddled by one of her loves and A was being a great mommy to Baby J. C was just along for the ride.

Very fun day with friends. We did the same thing last year as well on a snow day so we may have to try to do this once every year!

Here's to another snow day tomorrow. Not because of snow but because of the ice!

Oh, by the way, they had a segment on the news today of a little girl doing the things from my previous post to make the snow come except she put a white crayon in the freezer instead of a spoon under her pillow. I have never ever heard of any of that??
