We decided to venture out for a while today.
Using their snow sticks!
Ladybug got Batman with the snow.
Usually water does not get in our toy box so we were surprised when we opened it up to get some buckets out to find a foot of ice inside!
Batman came in first. And I had to entice Ladybug back in with hot cocoa. It was cold outside!
We made real hot cocoa from cocoa powder, sugar and milk. It was delicious.
We garnished with whipped cream, chocolate chips and marshmallows. It puts the little packets to shame!
Then daddy had been trying to schedule some more time with us and actually put movie night on the schedule!
We made homemade pizza.
The kids and I made the dough so it could rise and cooked the sausage before he got home from work and then the three of them put the pizza together.
I think they ate as much cheese as they put on the pizza.
Then out comes the mixer for some brownies. Yum.
We watched a couple of cartoons and then we watched Monsters vs. Aliens. Cute movie. Nice snow day!
