Probably the last swimming post

For a while at least. This week was a perfect week for pictures. There was only two other kids in the pool at the time. They were missing 5 kids this week so I stayed down with the teachers and took pictures.

Batman loves swimming as much as Ladybug does.
As evidenced by the smile on his face.
And this smile.
He is doing so good!

Him and another little boy were racing to get to Ms. Bethany.
Now he doesn't like back floating much. But she is trying to teach him when he swims from one end of the pool to the other he can turn over on his back when he gets tired then turn back and keep going.
And we learned a little diving today. Diving for sticks, they were working on their breathing.
This is the goal. He missed it his first couple of times. But boy was he determined.
The next time he took off before the teacher had a chance to tell his it was his turn and he went all the way to the bottom by himself without a push.
Swimming to the deep end.

He has been swimming for a few months but he never officially took his deep end test. So I asked if he could do it today.
You have to jump in the deep end, swim forward long enough to come up three times for breath and then swim to the side and climb out without any help.

He did it! He was so proud of himself for passing the "test"!
The next time he wanted his friend to jump in with him. So they jumped together.
Then of course slide time!
He got his certificate and I got him a shirt that says "I can swim in the deep end".
We picked Jessica up at school and she jumped in the car and he couldn't wait to tell her he passed his "test"!
