Go Lady Bears

Ladybug had her first game on opening day as well.  Coach pitch starts a new era in softball around here.  Now we start keeping scores.  We finally play ball the real way with three strikes is an out.  If you don't perform at a position, you don't play it. etc.  So much more exciting!

We ended up with a fantastic coaching team.  He keeps saying we are a young team because we have mostly second graders and only a few third graders but the girls went out there and totally performed.

 Ladybug went three for three at bat today.  Excellent work.   Got on base everytime. 

 And her last hit dropped in the outfield!

Lady Bears won 14 to 1 our first game.  Not bad for a young team.  I am so looking forward to the rest of the season!!!
